Titled "DH 90 1924 N°60 SQN RAF North West Frontier 1920's". An exceptionally vivid original watercolour by Barry K. Barnes GAvA. Barnes originally trained as a junior soldier in the British Army within which time the Army funded his early art education. Barnes, stationed at RAF Kimble as an aircfraft fitter, evolved a passion for aircraft which is expressed in his much of his work. In 1982, Barnes was made a member of the Guild of Aviation Artists as an Associate, granted full membership in 2001.
